Golfers at Mariner Sands have their choice of two championship golf courses, considered some of the most playable in South Florida.
The Gold Course, designed by top golf architect Tom Fazio, has been completely renovated and was reopened in January 2005. The Green Course was designed by Frank Duane, who was a partner of Arnold Palmer in in golf course design and also was an associate of Robert Trent Jones. Its renovation was completed in January 2003.
Director of Golf Tim McKenna supervises a well-rounded program for low and high handicappers alike, with numerous events for men, women and couples. His friendly staff of well-trained professionals offer private lessons and clinics. The Golf Shop is well stocked with the latest equipment and a wide selection of golf wear for men and women. |
